Quartz is the countertop we install most in San Antonio. It is engineered stone, roughly 90 percent crushed quartz bound with resin and pigment, so it never needs sealing and the color stays consistent from one end of the kitchen to the other.
Our warehouse on West Turbo Drive holds more than 80 full slabs across price levels 1 through 9, from Cambria, Silestone, Caesarstone, MSI, Vicostone and Daltile. If the color you want is not on our racks, we can source it and bring it in.

How Much Do Quartz Countertops Cost in San Antonio?
Most quartz countertops in San Antonio run about $50 to $110 per square foot installed. That covers the slab, fabrication, edge work and installation, not the material alone.
A typical kitchen uses about 45 square feet of countertop, so a common range is roughly $2,250 to $4,950 installed. Large islands, full-height backsplashes and waterfall ends add square footage.
Quotes over the phone are guesses. We give you a firm price after we measure, and the slab you see in our warehouse is the slab on your cabinets.
What Moves the Price
Slab level and brand. Quartz is graded in price levels; ours run from level 1 to level 9.
Thickness. 3cm tops cost more than 2cm, and need no plywood underlayment.
Edge profile. Eased and square edges are standard; ogee and mitered edges add fabrication time.
Cutouts. Undermount sinks, cooktops and faucet holes are each cut and polished in our shop.
Layout and seams. L-shapes, islands and long runs change how many slabs you need.
Backsplash. A 4-inch splash or a full-height slab backsplash adds material.

Quartz makers including Cambria, Silestone and MSI exclude outdoor installation and UV exposure from their warranties, and South Texas sun can fade and discolor the resin over time. For patios and outdoor kitchens we recommend granite or quartzite, and quartz for everything under a roof.

Quartz Countertop Questions
How much do quartz countertops cost in San Antonio?

Is quartz better than granite?
Neither is better for everyone. Quartz never needs sealing and gives you consistent color. Granite handles heat better, works outdoors, and every slab is one of a kind. We carry both, so we recommend based on how you cook and where the top is going.
Are quartz countertops heat resistant?
Quartz handles everyday warmth, but the resin that binds it can scorch or discolor under a pan straight off the stove. Use trivets or hot pads. Granite and quartzite are more forgiving with heat.
Can I use quartz in an outdoor kitchen?
We do not recommend it. Cambria, Silestone and MSI exclude outdoor installation and UV exposure from their warranties, and Texas sun can fade the resin. For outdoor kitchens we suggest granite or quartzite.
Which quartz brands do you carry?
We carry Cambria, Silestone, Caesarstone, MSI, Vicostone and Daltile, with more than 80 full slabs across price levels 1 through 9 in our warehouse. If you have seen a color somewhere else, we can usually source it.
Do you fabricate quartz countertops in San Antonio?
Yes. Every quartz countertop is cut, edged and polished in our own San Antonio shop and installed by our own crew. We do not send your slab out to another fabricator.
How long does quartz countertop installation take?
We template once your cabinets are installed. From templating to install typically takes one to two weeks, depending on slab availability, edge details and your schedule.
Do quartz countertops need to be sealed?
No. Quartz is non-porous, so it never needs sealing. Clean it with warm water and mild soap, and skip bleach and abrasive scrub pads.
